I am currently pursuing a law degree and I have been teaching and tutoring for more than ten years. I have worked with students of different backgrounds and abilities, and I focus on showing my students HOW to study. I have extensive experience and proven results in teaching standardized test preparation, Math and English (writing, literature, grammar, etc.).
I provide custom worksheets and materials that I have designed myself, in addition to detailed reports that chart each student's progress. I take pride in my work and I work hard to ensure that each and every lesson is tailored to meet each student's individual needs.

1st tutoring session with Natasha was great. Natasha was well prepared and had a structured outline of the tutoring session. The assignment was covered thoroughly. Test taking strategies and tips were very helpful. Will definately schedule another session soon.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taught ACT prep courses for 7 years, and I am familiar with the most recent changes to the test. My students' scores go up an average of 3-5 points after 3 months of intensive study.
I have been doing college consulting on a freelance basis for over ten years. I volunteered as a college counselor for students at Syosset High School and Herricks High School in Long Island. I have worked with students on every step of the college application process, including college selection, essay writing, financial aid applications, and even negotiating for better financial aid packages after the students are accepted by schools.
I am a fluent speaker of the Korean language and have over fifteen years of experience writing as a journalist for Korean publications. I also worked as a Korean translator for several years.
