Ginny is a fantastic tutor. She is patient, thorough, and full of knowledge. She is great to work with and I look forward to more sessions with her!
Ginny helped me with so many things! She showed me difference between Pages and Word and how to change a Pages file to a pdf. She showed me how to use google drive and explained the benefits of google chrome. She helped me understand how to better organize my files and to use bookmarks. And much more. She was patient and easy to work with and didn't make me feel uncomfortable about how little I know regarding my Mac.
Working with Ginny was very comfortable. She was knowledgeable and communicated effectively and respectfully (not true of all geeks). I look forward to doing more work with Ginny.
Ginny was a wonderful tutor to work with. She was informative and knowledgeable about Dreamweaver. I will surely have her as my tutor next semester.
Ginny was patient, and helpful to complete my home work assignment. I plan to call for her help again in the near future.
Ginny helped me to get started with web design and was very knowledgeable about her field. It will take me a while, because I am a slow learner, but she is patient and kind. Thank you, Ginny! I look forward to meeting with you again!
Ginny is an excellent teacher. She is patient and explains procedures first and then has you replicate the process, which is great for someone like me who learns by doing more than by reading how-to.
Ginny was very helpful and guided me through the basics. I appreciated her patience and encouragement. Sometimes I felt as though there was not a real system or structure to her tutoring of a real novice like me, and it would have been great to have had a bit more of a lesson plan, but she responded quickly and well to any of my questions and to my needs. I would definitely (and will) work with her, again. I've already used a number of the tips and lessons that she taught me just a few days ago.
Ginny manages to be both affable and professional, no small feat. I need help with a very complex computer program, which she understands thoroughly and explains clearly. I plan to continue our visits until I have mastered the program. Over time I found that Ginny has the remarkable ability to explain complicated techniques for my software so that I can understand things I assumed I never would. She gives me more confidence in myself with every lesson. She also knows many shortcuts and tricks I can use. I always look forward to her visits.
Ginny is a great tutor! She was able to assess my Photoshop ability level quickly and focus my session from there. Much to my delight, we covered a huge amount of material in a short amount of time, at a very comfortable pace. She’s extremely patient, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
From the moment we discovered Ginny on the website, till she completed the first lesson, everything went perfectly. She has an astounding expertise in Photoshop and graphics, a pleasant personality, a sense of humor and displayed great patience in explaining and working through the solution to the problems presented to her, all of which she solved.
Amazing, that through WyzAnt we were able to discover just the help we needed, right in our own town!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I've employed desktop publishing best practices for nearly all of the nineteen years of my professional practice because it is such an important element in marketing and advertising.
