Brooklyn College-CUNY (Psychology-Biochem)
My passion for helping students comes from my drive for learning. Currently, I’m a medical student and I honestly would not be where I am today if it weren't for the support of my teachers. I graduated from Brooklyn College in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Minor in Biochemistry. Now, I'm working towards my Medical Degree in Pediatrics. I have a strong background in the Sciences and Math. I've worked with various age groups starting at 3 years old to adults for over 15 years. One of my research study was about fostering positive growth experiences in high school after school programs. While going to school, I was always determined and thrived to excel and I would help my fellow peers as well. It’s a great delight to see my students’ faces when they aced their exams.
I specialize in tutoring Elementary Math, PreAlgebra, Grammar, and Anatomy. My goals during each tutoring session is to keep you engage and identify your strengths and weaknesses. I will initiate a plan according to your style of learning, whether it be with diagrams or objects and build upon it to let you succeed. After each session, I will assign homework and updated progress notes. I'm here to maximize your results and motivate you to thrive. I try to be flexible with the time and will make-up any classes in case you missed one. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
