As a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Chemistry and Philosophy and scheduled to obtain Master's Degree in Education this semester, I truly believe in the power of education. My professional experience was achieved as an analytical chemist for Uniroyal Chemicals and Raw Material Manager for Bacolac Pharmaceuticals. Teaching experience was gained as a high school teacher teaching chemistry, living environment and geology. Since 1989, I have tutored chemistry, living environment, geology, electronics (while in the Navy), algebra, trigonometry. My students range from the 7th grade to graduate level and include vocational training.
My philosophy when it comes to tutoring is learning is easier when it is based on what is already known. Anything can be learned if an association to something already known is made. Therefore almost anybody can learn anything. I can be direct, but I have a sense of humor. Most importantly, I enjoy what I do.
