About Kelsy

I am a college student and recent graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School. I work part time as a tutor and have tutored students from ages 8-24. I mainly tutor math and sciences because those are the subjects most people have difficulties with, but as you can see from my profile I am very flexible and able to tutor a wide variety of subjects. My motto is patience is the key to success and I use this motto with every aspect of life, especially teaching. I am a college student and recent graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School. Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Basketball

I played basketball in both middle and high school and am a huge fan of the sport. Currently the most famous basketball is the NBA, although they are suffering from a lockout. this league has existed for many generations and for most of it the Celtics and Lakers have dominated the league. There was the Larry Byrd versus Magic Johnson era, now we deal with the Kobe versus Paul Pierce era. i am also an avid fan of the WNBA. Although most people demean the WNBA because the skill level is not the same as the NBA, i believe basketball is basketball so when a person is able to execute plays successfully then it is basketball worth watching. In the Unite States, there are also many unofficial leagues that exist to showcase the talent of up and coming players. there is also Olympic leveled basketball where the U.S. women's team has dominated for every year they have played, while the U.S men's team have been sporadic in their victories over the last decade except in 2008 when they won the gold medal. Many other leagues such as; the Euroleague are famous because they contain former and future NBA stars and in basketball, a true feat of your talent is whether or not you can make it to the NBA.
