Hey - I'm Alex. Long Story Short -- Was a professor of philosophy and science for 7 years, did my doctoral work in Philosophy and Physics (both ABD) - and now, I'm simply trying to utilize a rather unique skill set to help others succeed.

Longer Version: The majority of my life has been focused on two things -- people and academics. Through multiple undergraduate and graduate degrees, working as a professor for close to seven years, and spending far too much of my life with my nose in a book, I like to fancy myself as at least somewhat good within the sphere of scholarship and research. My professorship (of course it was in philosophy - phenomenology to be exact) was where my passion really grew; I completely thrived in those distinct moments where a student would come to me with questions and conversation - not just to pass a course but to learn. This was however, also where I felt myself let down; in a class of thirty students, bringing joy to two or three simply wasn't enough.

So - I find people - the same people who would have approached me after my classes to talk about 'metaphysical ontology' - and I create feasible, realistic, and distinct plans to help them solve whatever problem they may face. I create human-centered, personalized, strategic, and emotionally reciprocal relationships with people, teams, and companies and, we figure out whatever needs solving. Whether that's getting and MBA, PhD, or a new career, or analyzing sustainability and D&I in the office, I work to ensure that each client with whom I work finds the ideal means to thrive.

I have been in advanced mathematics since first grade (I wish I was joking). By the time I was in Junior High I was placed out of all respective high-school calculus courses and, by the time I was in high school, college courses were a tad too simple. My entire life has been focused on the analysis and understanding of quantitative models of data - that is - how do we best use the data given to us, to tackle problems or, become better people. Logic

During my tenure as a professor of philosophy at both Long Island University CW Post and Stony Brook University, I taught Symbolic, Formal, and Modal logic to both undergraduate and graduate students. I have developed incredibly keen didactic methods for approaching some of the more 'theoretical' areas of math/philosophy and use them to create exacting methods for the understanding and digestion of - occasionally - complex material.
