While working on my PhD I taught at CUNY-Hunter College for about 6 of years. These courses included Introduction to Psychology, Biopsychology, and statistics. Most of my experience was teaching statistics, both in the classroom and lab. During lab I taught SAS, SPSS and Excel. I also taught multivariate statistics at Ferkauf Graduate School Psychology at Albert Einstein Medical School using SAS and JMP. My PhD dissertation topic was mapping the human visual cortex using visual evoked potentials.

Since completing graduate school in 2000, I have been working in professional services for the SAS Institute. During this time period I have had the honor of working for many different types of customers and projects. Through my teaching experience and professional projects, I bring a wealth of information from real world experience to my tutoring style. I am able to explain complex things in understandable ways using real examples that students can relate to.

I am looking to work further with students in a tutoring or consultative capacity. I am very professional, dependable and considered one of the experts in the field of using SAS.

Biostatistics

While working on my PhD I took Biostatistics courses. When analyzing data for my PhD we had to use biostatistical analyses such as Discrete Fourier Transforms to pull out fundamental and 2nd harmonic waves from VEP (Visual Evoked Potential) data. These results were further analyzed by using T-Circ ^2 multivariate stats to discern a nervous system response from random neural background noise.

He is clearly an expert in SAS, and my time with him was well-spent.
