I am a New York State Public School Teacher, with Certification in Teaching Social Studies Gr. 7-12. I have taught in large classrooms as well as one on one with students in unique circumstances, including Special Ed.
What I love about tutoring is that I am able to create lesson plans specifically designed to address the needs of the particular student as well as offer learning techniques improving comprehension, recall, and how to take exams. It is personally very satisfying for me to assist students in succeeding and meeting their goals.

I am an outstanding History teacher because I believe that History is both exciting as well as essential to all students in preparing them not only to earn a degree, but to equip them with a knowledge of the past and present that will benefit them as they go forth into higher education or the job market.

My teaching approach is informal, conversational, and informative, with an emphasis on imparting skills that will empower them not only in their current content area goals , but will equip them with skills for ongoing learning.

I invite and encourage any student who is seeking success in mastering knowledge of Global History, American History, Sociology, Government, or the exams associated with them, including Regents, or A.P., to contact me. Lets get started. Together, I know we can do it.
