I am an energetic and passionate STEM tutor looking to help students in the Rochester, NY region. I am a 29-year-old male living in Hilton, NY. I am a Chemical Engineer and am currently in graduate school getting my Ph.D. I know just how challenging distance learning has been for some, as I am in the middle of the same process.

I enjoy tutoring at the high school, college, and adult levels and love to teach a wide range of subjects including Algebra, Statistics, Pre-Calc, Calculus, Trig, Chemistry, Physics, MS Access, MS Excel, 3D Printing, 3D Modeling, FAA Part 107 and more!

I love to help students learn math and science subjects and have tutored both the high school and college levels. Willing to tutor in-person (mask required) or online, depending on what works best for the student. I have a flexible schedule and am available during the day and most evenings, on weekdays and some weekends.

I love to teach math, largely because I love to do solve math problems! As an undergraduate student in chemical engineering, I had to be very proficient in all types of math, from trigonometry and algebra to geometry and calculus. I graduated with a 3.80 GPA just over 7 years ago. As a practicing full-time engineer, I had to keep my math skills up and use statistics in the real world while working for Kodak, Bausch & Lomb, L-3 Harris, and Honda. Now as a 3rd Ph.D. student with a 3.98 GPA, I've had to deepen my understanding of math to understand the leading edge of technology.

I want to share what I've learned with you, and little tips and tricks to better understand all types of math problems. I want you to not only get better grades and score well on your tests but to actually understand what you're doing and why. You'll be a better general problem solver and overall student for it. I've helped a wide range of students work through their math struggles since I started tutoring over 10 years ago, and I'm confident I can help you too.
