I have my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and my Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology and Development. I have worked for non-profit agencies for the past 11 years providing services to people with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, ADD/ADHD, as well as various psychiatric disorders. I have an in-depth knowledge of the methods of behavioral analysis, and development of behavior support plans. I am skilled in creating trainings for staff development, and implementing behavioral change.I have experience analyzing behavior in crisis situations and formulating theories that help on the treatment procedures. I conduct routine observations of staff and individuals on my case load; provide training to the support staff and/or individual as needed during the observation through 1:1 consultation as well as modeling of appropriate behavior/interactions. I have experience with creating user friendly data sheets for behavior data collection, and analysis. I also have experience conducting Vineland Adaptive Behavior Assessments, Suicide Risk Assessments, and Psychological Evaluations. I have provided individual and group therapy as needed.
With my years of experience I feel that I will be able to tutor in the area of Psychology.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Educational Background - B.S. Psychology from SUNY Brockport in 2008, M.S. Psychology - Organizational Psychology and Development from Walden University in November 2010. Prior to my B.S. I provided direct support to people with intellectual disabilities. From June 2008 - March 2011 I was a BA Behavior Specialist, and since March 2011 I have been an MA Behavior Specialist providing psychological services to people with intellectual disabilities, Autism, ADHD, and various psychiatric disorders.
