Big 6 is a six-stage model to help anyone solve problems or make decisions by using information. Using the Big6 information literacy process, you will identify information research goals, seek, use, and assemble relevant, credible information, then to reflect—is the final product effective and was my process efficient.
The Big6 information literacy process is completely transferrable to any grade level, subject area, or workplace. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am an Ordained Christian Minister. I teach Bible Studies on the Old and New Testament. I prepare classes and teach small groups.

I have a Masters degree in Elementary Education and Information Technology and am licensed to teach study skills grades K to 12 in New York State. I teach students grades K-12 how to study more effectively by giving them Study Skills & Test Preparation handouts. These include test-taking tips, time-management advice, homework help, help with reading textbooks and memorization, and much more. As a certified Library Media Specialist, it is my job to give each student better information as to develop better study skills which leads them lead to better test-taking skills, and of course, better grades! Your students will be proud of all they can accomplish when they are given the ability to study efficiently and successfully, and their report cards will reflect this change!
