Some info for you:
I taught eighth grade English Language Arts for three years and then ninth grade for two years. I was also a varsity girls track and field coach for two years. My degree was for Secondary Education/English with a coaching minor for soccer. I also have a Masters' degree in Literacy, which means I could be a Reading teacher or tutor. My college years were spent running cross country and track.
I've worked a lot of different jobs, such as being a wilderness instructor in the Adirondacks, teaching in the public school system, being an assistant track coach at Suny Oswego as well as a head coach for girls varsity, tutoring kids one on one, and working as a GED instructor. All of these experiences helped cultivate my personal view on teaching. I know kids need one on one attention to flourish in their education as well as their personal goals.
Look forward to hearing from you!

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
