I received my B.S. with Honors in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin at Madison and Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Kansas
I have had lots of experience of teaching chemistry at the university level. I was an assistant professor at the University of South Alabama where I taught biochemistry and organic chemistry courses to undergraduate students. I also taught general and organic chemistry courses when I was a graduate student to receive my Master's and doctorate degrees. I am currently teaching the introduction to general, organic and biological chemistry at Grand Canyon University this semester.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you learn chemistry.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have received my Master's and doctorate degrees in organic chemistry at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and at the University of Kansas at Lawrence. During those years, I took many advanced organic chemistry courses and taught introductory organic chemistry to undergraduate students. I have also had lots of experience with organic chemistry in my postdoctoral research. Since I have a solid background in organic chemistry, I can teach organic chemistry very well.
