Hey there! My name is Hunter and I am glad that you are currently taking a look at my tutoring profile. I graduated magna cum laude from Texas Christian University – where I earned Dean’s list recognition every semester — with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, and a minor in Accounting. I was also a recipient of the TCU Academic Achievement Award at the end of freshman year based on GPA (one of Top 50 students of TCU freshman class). My cumulative GPA upon graduation was a 3.90. Currently, I work in New York within the financial services industry; specifically, as an Underwriter at a financial institution.

During college, those professors I admired most, looked up to, and learned from were those who demonstrated several and, in my opinion, vital traits. Those traits include a true passion of the subject matter, real-world experience, patience, willingness to answer questions, a commitment to stimulate critical thinking, and a desire to enlighten students, all of which contribute to an student's personal and professional success. As an individual who shares the above traits, my tutoring approach is similar to the teaching styles of my most favorite college professors and can be classified as hands-on, engaging, collaborative, tailored, flexible to your learning style, and refined as I choose to focus on a few subjects deeply.
