St. John's University (Sports Management)
When I reached the age of three, my parents sent me to S. Korea to learn the Korean language. Both of my parents were fluent and that helped me learn Korean very quickly. I have studied the language and have experienced the Korean culture for more than 20 years. I understand that learning a new language can be a challenge and many others have felt the same way before, but my students found out that learning Korean with an enthusiastic teacher in a stress free environment can help them expedite the learning process.
I worked as a language tutor at a St John's University Global Language and Culture Center. My main task was to discuss and analyze young adult fiction contents with students who are new to the language and generated discussion questions to stimulate literary conversation between students. I provided additional help with the University's Korean course homework and test/quiz reviews to struggling students. Aside from my tutoring experience from the cultural center, I also volunteered as a teaching assistant for Korean language and Culture courses at the University.
Many people needed to learn Korean usually have very important and urgent reasons. I have helped many students and business people to learn the Korean language in a stress free and fun way. As a person from that region I can help answer any questions regarding to the language, behavior, culture, etc. - I'm way more interesting than a web seminar!
Hope to teach you Korean soon! When I reached the age of three, my parents sent me to S. Korea to learn the Korean language. Both of my parents were fluent and that helped me learn Korean very quickly. I have studied the language and have experienced the Korean
