I have years of tutoring experience dating back to my high school days, primarily in the sciences, but also in algebra, trig, writing/proofreading, and basic Spanish.

I am a resident at Jamaica Hospital. I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery at NYU after receiving my bachelors in biology from Yeshiva University. I have years of tutoring experience dating back to my high school days, primarily in the sciences, but also in algebra, trig, writing/proofreading, and basic Spanish.

I am very enthusiastic about passing on my knowledge to help other succeed. Every student learns differently and requires the tutor to tailor his/her method to what works best for the student. I try to break down difficult concepts into its most basic elements, and to draw analogies to the students' areas of interest to make abstract concepts more tangible. I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your potential!

Insightful, patient and knowledgeable tutor

Adam worked with me on organic chemistry, teaching me what to look for in order to name the different types of hydrocarbons and structures as well as how to draw them. What I appreciated most was how he would ask me questions, change the structures of what I was looking at and then ask me what was different and if it mattered in naming it. He also figured out how to simplify the Sapling Learning models so I could finally complete my assignment.

Very competent

Very very knowledgeable in the field that he's tutoring! Great! A little pricey in my opinion but it's worth it!

An Effective and Engaging Style

Adam immediately connected with my son and they engaged in a back-and-forth dialogue of questions and answers. It's hard to believe that my son discussed chemistry in-depth for an hour and a half without a break and then afterwards said not only did he learn a lot but that he enjoyed it as well! It says a lot about Adam.
