Five Towns College (Music)
I've been teaching in some way, shape or form for over 10 years. I love to watch people progress through their learning journey and use the tools in music and video, which I help them to develop, to express themselves freely and fully. I want to see you grow and I'm deeply invested in your success!
I attended Five Towns College to study Music with a concentration in Audio Recording Technology and I loved it! It's a small school but the professors were great and the environment was hands-on and interactive. I think the best way to learn is hand-on as well, especially in the case of Music and Video. So if you need to help with Ear Training, Music Production, Music Theory, Pro Tools, Cubase/Nuendo, Video Editing and/or Pre/Post Production, I'd be more than glad to help.
Video Production is one of my passions because it allows me to tell great stories. In order to great stories, you need to know how lighting works, how sound plays into everything, how to choose the correct lens and camera, how to edit, among a host of many other things. I've been working in video production for 8 years. I've done short films, commercials, documentaries and more! I know I can help you become a great story teller - that's what it's all about.
My first passion is music. I started out on the violin at 9 years old and then switched over to the trumpet. I played trumpet all the way through college. In college, I studied Audio Recording at Five Towns college and majored in Music. After college, I composed music for television shows and documentaries and actively used my music production, music theory and ear training skills all the way until now. I'm a very patient and understanding tutor and I know that, especially when it comes to ear training, everyone learns at their own pace but I'll give you the tools to learn as quickly as you're able!
Please feel free to contact me to schedule a lesson. I'm excited to meet you and to see you reach your full potential! I've been teaching in some way, shape or form for over 10 years. I love to watch people progress through their learning journey and use the tools in music and video, which I help them to develop, to express themselves freely and fully. I want to see you grow and I'm deeply invested in your success!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
