Hello, future tutee and family! I am a soon-to-graduate medical student also enrolled in a masters program in bioethics, who would love to use her years of tutoring and teaching experience to help you! I have experience working with a wide range of students, starting from the age of 7 to 16! My tutoring experience began when I was in high school. At the time, my math teacher approached me to help her with her after-class students. The students liked it enough that some of them began to ask for my assistance outside of class. Thus began my journey into tutoring.

I continued to tutor students after graduating from high school, serving as a Teaching Assistant for a Biology course named "Invertebrate Zoology" and "Biochemistry" during my time at Brown. During my college years, I also delved into assisting students below the age of ten with their homework. I even served as a teacher of English and Mathematics for students from refugee families during this time. After college, I spent a year abroad in Japan as a teacher of English and Ecology. This was my most formal and recent experience as a teacher, and it was a blast! During medical school, I have been able to find some time here and there to teach, but not as much as I would like. Now that I am soon to be graduating, I have the time and would like to dedicate myself to tutoring once more!

My subjects of expertise are English, History and the Sciences. I can certainly help with math up until Pre-Algebra and Geometry very confidently as well. Alongside tutoring, I have had several informal experiences helping others write their personal statements for college apps as well. I particularly enjoy this as it allows me to get to know my student very well, so, if you are interested, please reach out!
