Excellent tutor!

Very knowledgeable. But, more importantly, able to convey lessons in terms my son could easily absorb. He enjoyed his session and is looking forward to the next!

Wonderful tutor

Barbara has been tutoring my daughter in Algebra 2 since October. My daughter has always struggled in math and is now an "A" student. Barbara is extremely patient and makes sure that my daughter understands the material before moving on. I wish I had found Barbara when my daughter was a freshman, but at least we have her now. I highly recommend Barbara if you are looking for a tutor.

Barbara was a very nice and patient tutor

She was very patient with me and was nice enough to make me a review sheet! I hope I pass the SAT - haha. She helped me get the basics of the old math we learned down and she was just awesome. I recommend her.

Barbara is a great tutor

Our student is moving forward with her math lessons with Barbara. She is showing much improvement since she began studying with Barbara. Fractions as we known can be difficult for a 5th grader, but I have enormous faith that in time and of course with a lot of study, our student will reach her understanding through a period of time spent with Barbara. Her test grades have improved within the last couple of weeks. Her teacher at school is very pleased. Her family and myself are very happy with Barbara. She is a fine teacher. And when we call Barbara, she is very responsive in calling back.

Patient, good technique

Barbara tutored my daughter for the first time this morning. She really helped my daughter to grasp concepts that she has been struggling with for some time. Thanks Barbara.

My child wants her to come every week!

Very pleased with how Barb works with my daughter. Comes prepared with her own material in case there is no homework or upcoming tests. Always on time and works with my daughter the entire hour. Improvement in grades noted on quizes and tests since working with Barb.
