In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

C#

In addition to my formal education, I have been working an active developer for close to 20 years. I have worked as C# developer for the last 5 years. I have also taught C# at the corporate level.

I am currently a freelance C# developer and will be able to give students the benefit of my hands-on real world experience.

Computer Engineering

I have a Master's of Science in computer science and have been actively in the field for the last 15 years.

I have taught many at the corporate level and well as through public venues such as tech centered community programs.

With this material, I have taught community based classes for homeschooling teenagers for the past three years. These were predominately offered through a community library technology class series.

Computer Programming

In addition to my formal education, I have been working an active developer for close to 20 years. I have a deep understanding of multiple programming languages including VB, C#, C++, Fortran, Delphi and others.

I'm also well versed in generalized computer software engineering concepts such as the software development cycle.

Computer Science

I have a MS in Computer Science in addition to nearly 20 years of experience. I have actively been working in the field of educating in a corporate environment for the last 10 years.

I have taught both at the corporate level and at the secondary education level. My background brings real world experience and excellence in education together for the success of my students

Microsoft Access

I have been developing Access front and backend solutions for nearly 20 years. I have taught in Access development and administration at a local community college and as part of several corporate training programs. I have a BS in Computer Science from Ohio State.

Visual Basic

I have 15 years of development experience with VB6, VB.NET 2003-2013. I have taught students of all ages through community tech programs available at the public library.

I am also a Microsoft Certified Developer for the VB.NET domain.
