Hi, my name is Albert, and I'm currently a junior at Stony Brook University majoring in Mathematics and Physics. I have always been academically motivated. I took courses on-campus at Stony Brook while in high school and completed up to Calculus IV before enrolling in the school as an undergraduate. I completed the mathematics major requirements after my third college semester, and I am currently taking some graduate mathematics courses. I currently hold a 3.91 overall GPA, with a 3.96 Math GPA.

Regarding tutoring experience, I have helped many of my friends and fellow classmates in various math and physics courses throughout high school and college. When I teach, I try to reinforce any fundamentals that a student maybe be lacking in, and I try to focus on the "why" as opposed to just on the "how". I'm also very patient, as I understand the struggles of not understanding something at first, only until hearing an alternative explanation that makes everything just click. I enjoy teaching not only because it allows me to give others a better appreciation for mathematics, but also since it reinforces my own understanding of the subject and improves my communication skills.

I scored a 780 on the SAT math section and 800's on the SAT Math II, Physics, and Biology subject tests. I scored a 35 on the ACT math section. I also scored 5's on the following AP tests:

Calculus BC
Physics 1
Physics 2
Physics C: Mechanics
Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
