Throughout junior high and high school, I was always interested in math and science, so I decided to follow this interest by studying biomedical engineering at the University at Buffalo. Throughout junior high and high school, I was always interested in math and science, so I decided to follow this interest by studying biomedical engineering at the University at Buffalo. Besides my academics, as well as my time spent on the club track team, I was able to work with local public schools as a volunteer with Science is Elementary. It was rewarding to get elementary school kids interested in science with small experiments in demonstrations, but I think the next step is just as valuable- keeping kids interested in STEM.

Above all, I am a goal-oriented person, so one of the most rewarding feelings for me is when I help someone else achieve their goals. As part of UB's Biomedical Engineering Society, I have some experience with our Educational Outreach branch. Between this experience and my STEM volunteering, I know that there is no single "right" approach to teaching, but I'm ready to work to find the right approach for anyone who needs a little bit of help.

As I am currently pursuing a minor in math, I am staying immersed each semester and keeping my skills fresh. Along with experience in high school algebra, trigonometry, and precalculus, I am able to provide test prep for the Math 2 SAT Subject Test (800), and AP Calculus BC (5).

I have 3 years of experience in college-level physics, both algebra and calculus-based. I am able to provide test prep for the Regents Physics exam (98), SAT Subject Test (800), and AP Physics C (5).

Whether your goal is short-term test prep or long-term learning, I am willing to work to meet your needs, and maybe even help your appreciation of STEM grow.
