Hi my name is Kevin. I have a PhD in biomechanics, and have a successfully taught physics and math to a broad range of students. I enjoy teaching, and find success in conveying concepts through practical examples, from every day life, which helps the student relate to and understand the material. Typical feedback from my students is that I provide a learning and problem solving approach which makes the material easy to master. I have been successful teaching at the University level and tutoring all levels of students, from beginning to advance and high school to college.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I played division 1 lacrosse at Penn State,coached at U Mass and was president of the largest youth lacrosse league in the country. I successfully coached teams winning championships in youth lacrosse in Maryland and New York. I have been an "A" rated high school lacrosse official. In addition I have personally coached many all-Americans. I emphasize the fundamentals and skills necessary to play field lacrosse at the highest level.
