I'm an MIT sophomore who takes pride in his teaching! Through the journey of one of the most difficult schools in the world, the collaborative experience has given me opportunities to find out how I learn best. Just as importantly, I’ve discovered how other people learn best when they are struggling with the material. I've taken multiple years of advanced calculus including differential and multi variable courses. I have also taken mechanics and electricity and magnetism courses at MIT all while maintaining a perfect GPA. I will gear my teaching towards high school or college students with subject areas from Algebra 1 through Calculus.

During our tutoring sessions, I will start by giving a brief overview of the concepts as well as answer any questions the student may have. Then we will work through extra starter problems associated with the material at hand as well as any assigned material. At any point, any questions that I am asked I respond to not only with an explanation but also a visual demonstration. My goal is not only to promote understanding but also a complete scope of the subject area making future applications of the concepts easier and more intuitive to the student.

As for my past experiences, I have worked as a teaching assistant for my high school specifically in the Computer Science department and have experience making lesson plans as well as explaining areas of confusion that can be difficult to conceptualize. In addition to that, I designed a lesson that I taught to high school students attending an MIT program describing how an electrical motor works. During the class students also created their own simple motors with a copper coil, a magnet, and a battery.

You'll find that I'm an energetic, sometimes goofy guy, who above all else, will make your coursework less intimidating and much more approachable. Together we'll be successful!
