New York State University at Buffalo (Physics)
Hello! I'm a physics major attending University at buffalo. I will have a bachelor's degree in physics by this spring as well as a math minor. I'm going to college for my PhD in physics so that I may become a theoretical physicist. I only have 5 courses left to graduate so I'm only taking Quantum Field Theory at the graduate level right now as well as one other physics course for Thermodynamics and Statistics. In other words, I currently have a flexible schedule. I've tutored calculus at NCCC in the past, as well as physics at U.B. I work very well with people, and I love solving problems as well as teaching. I'm very patient, and I'm sure that I can be a great help to whoever needs it. I've loved physics since I was twelve and I've developed good problem solving skills that I'd like to pass along.
I've taken all basic math courses such as: algebra, trigonometry, geometry, as well as higher level math courses such as: three calculus courses, differential equations, discrete structures, linear algebra, and partial differential equations. I've also taken about fourteen physics courses, and two courses in chemistry so I'm very experienced with math.
I love helping people and I am looking forward to working with you. Hello! I'm a physics major attending University at buffalo. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
