I am a graduate student at the State University of New York at Buffalo and am working on obtaining my Master's in English. I graduated from Penn State University with a BA in English Literature and a minor in Communications. I look forward to expanding my tutoring skills in order to become a teacher in the future.
I have also worked as a freelance editor and writer and would be thrilled to help my students progress to to the point that they can use their newfound skills to apply for jobs.
Having recently completed college, I am familiar with the application process that many students are currently going through and am particularly eager to help students learn how to navigate college and graduate school applications and tests.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
