I have been teaching at Georgia Southern University since fall 2012 as a visiting assistant professor in the department of mechanical engineering. I have taught energy science lab., heat transfer, solid modeling and analysis using SolidWorks software, and engineering graphics using AutoCAD.
Before fall 2012, I was teaching at the University of New Orleans in LA as an Adjunct Faculty in the department of mechanical engineering.
According to my teaching strategy I keep students involved and busy all the time. I like to make a friendly environment in my classroom. I always start teaching from known materials to new materials so that students realize that they also know a part of the new materials. I make silly examples to make material understandable. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am teaching mechanical engineering, which assures that I need to handle the differential equations everyday. I have taught Heat transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics those need differential equations both analytically and numerically.
I am teaching mechanical engineering in Georgia Southern Univ. since Fall 2012 and before that I taught mechanical engineering in University of New Orleans in Louisiana. So far, I have taught Engineering Graphics, Solid Modeling, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics. So, I have been teaching mechanical engineering for more than 4 years.
I have developed a number of software using MS Access for database and engineering problems. I have published a number of engineering articles using results obtained by using MS Access. I have also used Visual Basic for front end and MS Access for back end for a particular software.
