Hello my name is April, I am a private tutor and part time classroom instructor with experience teaching PreK-12th grade students. As a Buffalo State College graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Art Education and a minor in psychology, it is my job to incorporate Art Therapy into the lessons that I teach. I would like to add that I have a variety of experience in substitute teaching in a variety of schools and grade levels, along with students who have disabilities. I have also taught art through summer camp programs and preschool programs.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
