Hello there! I’m Kenneth, a software engineer at Google with M.S. in electrical engineering, and I have been tutoring math, chemistry, and physics for over ten years. If you are looking for mathematics knowledge and intuition, let’s work on it together.
I graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in bioengineering in 2016. As an undergraduate, I was a lead mathematics tutor hosting lecture hall review sessions at the UW Center for Learning & Undergraduate Enrichment. I found that my clear, descriptive approach in my review sessions was very popular with students – attendance skyrocketed to 100+! In 2019, I graduated from New York University with an M.S. in electrical engineering, and 4.0 GPA. My concentration in machine learning (ML) and optimization helped set me on a path to becoming a ML teaching assistant, then ML engineer, and now Google software engineer.
I am passionate about accessible math education. By stepping into students' shoes, truly listening, and tailoring my approach, I help students master any math subject regardless of their level. I focus on strengthening weak areas by demonstrating multiple problem-solving perspectives to ensure thorough understanding. I always build concise and quality explanations that make math relatable and interesting.
I am currently living in Brooklyn, NY, but I am offering only online lessons at this time. I hope to hear from you!
