I am a current student with an aim to achieve my PhD and become a professor of Philosophy. While I am relatively new to tutoring for hire, I have plenty of experience tutoring friends, family, and younger students in a variety of subjects. I am very amicable and use a variety of strategies to ensure those who I tutor understand it to the same capacity I would at their respective education level. I do not claim to know everything and there will be some subjects I do not remember, however, as a future educator and because of my passion for learning, I will give myself and ample briefing to the subject/topic at hand the day before so that I can properly instruct you/your child to the best of my ability. I have a great sense of enjoyment when I teach something that was unknown before or when a concept has finally been understood in terms that my student understands.

I excelled in my high school Calculus class and took AP Physics with Calculus my senior year. My great aunt was a Calculus teacher and she taught me all her tips and tricks for understanding the subject to a substantial degree. Math has always been a strong suit of mine and rather easy for me to explain in terms others can understand.

As a current Philosophy major, as well as an avid reader of non fiction and science journals, I believe science to be my best subject. My expertise ranges from grade school to a college level science course with specialization in Physics. Math is simple across all disciplines whereas the concepts are usually the most difficult to grasp for new students. I have a great understanding of said concepts and have no trouble conveying these ideas in simple terms.

I encourage students to become confident in their writing and don't criticize them for their mistakes but give positive feedback that will lead them to becoming stronger writers. It is important for students to understand the purpose of their writing and where to find accredited sources online so that they can achieve a piece of work that reflects their ideas in an organized way with plentiful evidence to support them.

I received my A.O.S. in Computer Aided Drafting and Design and have two years of field experience working in architecture/engineering firms. This was a passion of mine before I found Philosophy and had I not gravitated towards that discipline I would still be in Architecture today.

I am very open to all kinds of people and types of study. I encourage students to love academia and find joy in learning rather than teach them simply because they need to know it. Any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at any point in the day/night and I will usually respond within 6 hours if not less.

Fabulous, kind and focused.

Great teacher. Clear, focused and hard working. He really inspired my son to study and learn the material. He gave practice questions and really tested the concepts.
