Hello! My name is Cole and I am here to help you learn Korean. I have been studying Korean for 6 years now. I lived in South Korea for two years for 2013 - 2015 and again for my final college semester in 2018. I was a volunteer missionary for my first two years working with the Korean members of my church. I lived with other Korean people and learned their customs, culture, and most importantly their food! After finishing my two year mission, I went to college and decided to study Korean for my undergraduate degree. I have a passion for the language and love to share that passion with others.
Korean is my second language, and that means I know what it's like to learn for the first time. In early 2013, I entered an intensive 9 week program learning the basics of the language, I then spoke Korean while living in Seoul everyday for two years, and finally I studied the language on a more formal level for four years at Brigham Young University. I finished my college experience with a study abroad program at Kyunghee University in Suwon, South Korea. Throughout my own learning process, I have been tasked with teaching others Korean and helping people at various skill levels.
