B.S., Cornell University (Bachelors of Science)
I'm a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator with ten years of experience working in the health and wellness industry. I completed my Bachelor's in Science with a focus on nutrition and dietetics at Cornell University and went on to complete Sodexo's dietetic internship. I then became a clinical dietitian first at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, then at Cornell New York Presbyterian in Manhattan. Given my love for teaching and building relationships, I obtained my CDE and joined Mt. Sinai Beth Israel's Endocrine Department as an outpatient Diabetes Educator. From there I went on to work as diabetes health coach at a Telehealth company called Fit4D.
I love education and teaching and at this point would like to give back to the nutrition and dietetics community by helping students prepare for their future career in this important field. Additionally, throughout my clinical experience I worked as a preceptor for dietetic interns and received "Preceptor of the Year" award from the 2011 class of NYP Dietetic Interns and was honored to have been recognized as an educator that students enjoy working with. I look forward to offering my skills as a nutrition educator and knowledge as an experienced RD to help prospective nutrition students accomplish their goals.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
