About Kevin

As a high school student and member of both the Math Honor Society and National Honor Society, I volunteered throughout my local community and at my high school to help students of all ages improve their math knowledge and subsequently their math performance in school.

Currently, as a Risk Analyst in the finance industry, I routinely employ mathematics-based analytic skills to solve issues and better understand the data, its trends, and its implications. In an effort to continue my education and pursue my love of mathematics, I have recently earned the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation through the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

I enjoy math and especially helping others understand the subject better!

After completing an accelerated math program during high school which culminated with AP Calculus BC in my senior year, I earned a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University while concentrating in Finance and Accounting, and minoring in Mathematics. I completed the following courses while earning the minor in Mathematics:
Calculus for Business and Economics
Calculus I through III for Science and Engineering
Differential Equations and Linear Algebra
Probability and Statistics
The Theory of Interest

I am available on weekends and after business hours on weekdays to help you accomplish all of your math goals!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
