My art career:
I had over 600 art exhibitions (paintings, drawings, graphic design, prints, sculptures, rogue taxidermy) in Japan, The Netherlands, Spain, Columbia, Mexico, Canada, The United States. My artworks were collection of over a dozen of museums. I was featured in over 20 television news and shows in Japan, Canada, Philippine, The united States, etc. I won numerous awards including the Grand Champion of the season one of AMC cable television reality series of 12 competing artists "Immortalized".
My art teacher career:
Both of my parents were school teacher. My passion for teaching comes from lifelong passion for learning - I studied at two universities in Japan and three more universities in the United States. I love learning, and I hope you to do so, too. I have taught classes and gave lectures at over 38 educational and cultural institutions in the United States and Japan since 1978. I specialize in teaching art. I taught art classes, workshops, and seminars (drawing, painting, sculpture, art history) at the following institutions including the University of Michigan School of Art, American Museum of Natural History, Lauren Rogers Museum of Art, Louisiana State Museum, International Museum of Surgical Science, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Chemeketa Community College, Salem State College, Eastern Oregon University, Wicker Park School of Art, Montana State University, Mount Vernon Nazaren College, Maryland Institute College of Art, Illinois Institute of Technology, Camp Northwestern (Northwestern Military &b Navel Academy), French Woods Summer Camp, etc.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I obtained the Master of Fine Art degree from the University of Michigan School of Art and Design, and the Bachelor of Fine art degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art. I had over 600 art exhibitions in 7 countries. My artworks were featured in over a dozen museums. My artworks and I were featured in over 20 television news and shows.
