About Nathalie

Hi there! I am currently an attorney in New York, however I have had plenty of teaching experience throughout my career. While the specifics are listed below, I figured I would take this time to tell you a little bit about my views on teaching. There are so many different ways to approach teaching and I'm willing to work with you to figure out what works best for you!

I am open to meeting at a library or a coffee shop. I am free on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays.

In High School, I served as a member of the National Honor Society and provided after school tutoring for fellow students in Math and History. I graduated valedictorian and went on to attend Boston College.

During my time at Boston College, I traveled abroad to Spain, where I worked as a private English tutor for two children (ages 8 and 9) and two teenagers (ages 14 and 16). In addition to my time abroad, I also worked as an assistant ESL instructor through the Jewish Vocational Center in Boston.

Spanish was my first language. I strengthened my skills through courses in high school and college. I minored in Latin American Studies at Boston College, where I took advanced level grammar and literature courses.

History was my major at Boston College.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I strive to make this an arrangements that works for both of us! Good luck in your learning journey!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
