I'm a registered nurse who recently graduated with honors from a very tough nursing program. I received Nursing Academic Excellence and Best All-Around Student awards at graduation. I'm passionate about my profession and I love to help others see the beauty and find joy in learning all about our bodies, its functions and dysfunctions. I've been helping students with Medical Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Maternity/OB, Psychiatric Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing and Math/Dosage Calculations for a year and a half. I love to see my students do better on their exams and I like them to really understand the concepts behind every nursing intervention or a disease. I would love to share my experiences with you and help you on your journey to the great profession of nursing! As a nursing tutor I've been focusing on the concepts of Pathophysiology as well as anatomy and physiology, because it all goes back to the basics. The human body is an astonishing thing and knowing how things work or why they don't work the way they should, is the key to providing the best care to our patients and it's also the key to remembering all the needed interventions and information instead of just memorizing it. I recently passed Kaplan with 75 questions, it was perhaps the easiest nursing exam I've had in life. I was finished in about 45 minutes and I feel very grateful to my school and professors for preparing me so well. I feel strongly that every person who has graduated from a Nursing Program is more than smart enough to pass NCLEX and I would love to be part of the celebration! Every person has his or her own learning style; I'm not here to tell you what to do, I'm just here to tell you what I did that helped me successfully complete the nursing program and pass the NCLEX. I would love to share my knowledge, strategies and tricks and tips for mastering your knowledge! I believe we can beat test anxiety and get hold of the nursing exams. Looking forward to working and learning with you!

I value my students’ time by showing up for my sessions on time and I expect the same thing from my students. Unfortunately, this has not always been the case and I will have to introduce the Cancellation policy, which I take very seriously.
I reserve the right to charge the full amount of a lesson in the event of cancelled lessons less than 12 hours before the scheduled start time of the lesson.
Additionally, I reserve the right to charge this same cancellation fee for no shows. Tardiness for more than 15 minutes (with not prior notification) will be considered as no show. All the communication must be done through Wyzant messaging.

Tamar is a gem. She listens and answers all your questions. She also simplifies the questions and the answers so you can identify how to answer the questions. This is my first lesson with her and I already feel more confident in myself. She is highly recommended by me. CamiliaCamilia, 3 lessons with Tamar
Tamar has really helped me in selecting the right answer on my nursing exams. I am in my first semester of nursing school and as us nursing students know, nursing exams are different for any other exam. I have had a hard time in second guessing myself and choosing the wrong answer. She has gave me great examples on how not to second guess myself and how to eliminate answers just from how it is worded.Jen, 18 lessons with Tamar
Very Knowledgeable. Listens and communicates well.
Tamar reviewed the basics. We reviewed some A&P, focusing on the functions of different organs, which helped me better understand what interventions are needed as oppose to just memorizing. Also, we were able to do some questions and she began to help me understand what and how to focus on choosing the correct answer. Tamar is very easy to communicate with and I felt she truly cares about helping me achieve my goal.Stephanie, 8 lessons with Tamar

Tamar taught me test-taking skills and strategies by sharing some of her personal tips from her nursing school experience. She had an answer to every question that arose, and was extremely helpful in helping me understand the rationales for each question. I look forward to my future sessions with Tamar and built a lot more confidence in achieving a high grade on my next exam.Elizabeth , 6 lessons with Tamar
