I have over 8 years of experience working with special needs clients in numerous setting such as home care, youth camps, and adult day mental health care centers. I have been involved with tutoring middle school and high school children, preparing them for college and any higher education they’re interested in. I also spent years as a volunteer for ESL students during my five years in college. A lot of my work experiences were done on a one-on-one basis, which included doing homework, physical therapy, communication, supervision of medication, and outdoor activities.
I have more than 4 years of experience in managerial duties, administrative management and operational support. I have the ability to efficiently juggle multiple roles in case management consisting of multiple project and diverse workloads. I can also work well in group setting as well as an individual with minimal supervision.
This is the position I have been preparing for; the desire to help children is special gift. For me, the joy in helping and hanging someone's life isn't how much you make but in the "Thank You" I hear. Children are great imitators. I am something great to imitate.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have worked with special needs for the last eight years. I have worked well with groups, as well as one on one... Majority of my work experience has been with children with special needs, together we worked on homework, communication skills, social skills and any other skill that was relevant to their development.
