I am a professional photographer who works mostly in the editorial field. With over 15 years' experience I have a world of knowledge to share with you. I have always used my camera as a kind of "ticket" to explore and experience life and enjoy helping others learn the dynamic and amazing craft of photography.
I could teach a number of different skills and approaches to photography including; basic camera instruction, digital darkroom techniques, traditional darkroom techniques, studio setting, the art of documentary photography, photographing people, learn how to be comfortable approaching strangers and people on the street, Visual storytelling: How to compose a narrative through a series of images, sport photography, general photographic informational, photographic appreciation; museum trips, history of photography discussions.
My technique of instruction is experiential and will be one of action. We will be hitting the streets, studio, etc and will be learning by doing. Simply put, we will go out together and photograph. During that time any questions can be answered and and techniques will be learned. The sessions will be fun, adventurous and you will walk away from each session with a much greater understanding of the art of photography.
Look forward to helping you hone your skills.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
