I am currently an adjunct professor of Art History, where I teach the core requirement art history classes. I have crafted my courses to be interactive lectures and discussions, based on PowerPoint slide presentations, art videos, and an anthology of scholarly articles that I have compiled. Getting students to engage in conversation about what they are seeing, and expressing their visual experience in critical dialogue and essays are my immediate goals. I have developed the curriculum for and have taught Art of Western Civilization, Aesthetics of Modern Art, Jewish Art, Archaeology of the Land of Israel. I am developing a syllabus for Renaissance Art, American Art, and Art and Politics, a course on political propaganda.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
