In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. Algebra 1

I have taught Algebra 1 in a public high school setting to students of all learning levels including special needs students, so I am highly qualified to tutor this subject.

Algebra 2

I have taught Algebra 2 in a private high school setting to students of all learning levels including special needs students, so I am highly qualified to tutor this subject.

Discrete Math

I have a master's degree in mathematics (3.80 GPA). Because this course typically serves as an introduction to proof, logic, and set theory, I am highly qualified to tutor this subject, as I specialized in mathematical logic as a graduate student, which encompasses all of these topics.

Geometry

Geometry is my specialty and my area of expertise. Logic plays a fundamental role in this course, and I specialized in mathematical logic as a graduate student so I am highly qualified for tutoring this course.

Linear Algebra

As a student, I excelled at both Linear Algebra as an undergraduate and Advanced Linear Algebra as a graduate. I also have proven successful at tutoring this entire course with past students.

Logic

I specialized in mathematical logic as a graduate student so I am highly capable of providing assistance in the logic portion of high school geometry or undergraduate-level logic courses.

Prealgebra
