American University Washington College of Law (J.D.)
I have an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Virginia. I have taught world history, U.S. history, and U.S. government at the high school level. In addition, I have taught overseas in Costa Rica and Mexico and speak Spanish fluently if English is your second language.
I am also about to earn my law degree and am a Kaplan certified LSAT instructor for all those interested in attending law school. This means I have scored above the 90th percentile on an official LSAT and am trained in Kaplan's methods of teaching the LSAT. Since then, I have discovered my own methods which I use to supplement my Kaplan training.
In conclusion, I have several years of experience in varied settings, from teaching in international schools overseas to being a private tutor in the U.S. I am flexible and able to teach several subjects. My different experiences will help me to adjust to any of my students' own learning needs. Future Students,

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have the ability to teach students the basics of world religions. I have a minor in Jewish Studies from the University of Virginia and have studied biblical criticism and the historicity of the Old and New Testaments.
