In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been teaching English Language for more than 7 years. I hold a masters degree in Political Science and Public Administration. I have tailored English language program for every level/age group. My students have successfully passed ESL/TOEFL tests.
I am originally from Georgia and I grew up in the Soviet Union, where Russian was my primary language. I have over 7 yeara of experience in interpreting from Russian Language. I have recently completed a medical interpreting courses (Russian language) at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. I have also worked as an interpreter at the Human Rights First and the law firm Davis Polk.
I have studied international relations at the University of Istanbul.
