I am a highly motivated, bubbly, and cheerful person whose true passion in life is teaching. I have over five years of experience teaching in grades PreK- 6th. I believe education can be used as a tool to change the futures of individuals. Thus, I push my students to the best of their abilities while knowing their limits. I am also a nurturing/caring, and positive individual, which can be seen in my teaching. By caring deeply about my students and holding them to high expectations regarding academics, my students can achieve whatever they put their minds to.

A little bit about my teaching experience. I have BA in Educational Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and a Master's degree from SUNY Cortland in Childhood Education (1 - 6). I am a certified NYS teacher in grades 1 - 6th. I have taught in a variety of settings throughout the years. I was an Ag in the Classroom Educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension for grades 1st - 6th. Then was a Pre-K special education teacher at local NYS daycare for about a year and a half. After that, I returned back to school to get my Master's. I student taught in grades 2nd and 3rd focusing on ELA. Upon receiving my Master's, I got a job offer for a 2nd-grade position in a local school district and taught there for one year. I am currently teaching at a new district in 4th grade, which I am very excited about! Additionally, I have a strong background working with students with Autism. I have been 1 on 1 tutor for an individual with Autism for the past three years. Lastly, I have a solid background working with technology due to teaching hybrid. I genuinely love teaching; it is my life's passion!
