Bio

Tutoring is a way for me to not only help other people understand something they might be struggling with, but for myself to gain a better understanding of the subjects I tutor. Tutoring is a discussion, not a lecturing. Each person has a unique way of understanding every subject. It's a fun puzzle for me to find a way to help someone come to understanding a certain subject, which leads us both to understanding it better.

Tutoring is a discussion, not a lecturing. Each person has a unique way of understanding every subject. It's a fun puzzle for me to find a way to help someone come to understanding a certain subject, which leads us both to understanding it better.

I'm currently a student of math and physics going for my second bachelor's degree. So, all the concepts I'm able to tutor are fresh in my head. I have received straight A's through all my courses.

I've been a working actor in Los Angeles and New York City for 15 years. I've worked on major network TV shows, The Blacklist, Blue Bloods and certain Fox pilots.

I received my first bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts at Loyola Marymount University. I've taken classes all around the world with some of the best teachers from many schools of thought. Some of those are:

-The Moscow Art Theatre School in Moscow, Russia
-Scott Freeman in NYC
-Tony Greco's Method class, NYC
-The Barrow Group, NYC
-Scott Sedita, LA

While getting my BA in Theater Arts in Los Angeles, I taught elementary school children in an after-school musical theater program. I have some experience with teaching 20 1st-5th graders at a time. Currently, I am attending DCC in an attempt to get a degree in Physics. Math and science is a real joy for me and I have always enjoyed helping others learn.

As a current student of math and science, all of the ideas regarding algebra are fresh in my head and are concepts that I am using and refining regularly. While I am writing this, I have achieved As in my math classes, Pre-Calc 1 and Pre-Calc 2. My following semester classes will be Calc-1 and Physics-1. Tutoring algebra is an opportunity for me to help others and my self understand something I enjoy more clearly.
