My name is Matt, and I am currently a teacher at a school in the capital region going on my sixth year of experience. I have taught middle school and high school history including preparing students for the NYS global history and American history regents. I have a passion for history and enjoy sharing it with my students. Through my teaching I can give students the necessary tools to learn history, make historical connections and pass NYS tests.
I am a freshman basketball coach in the area, I have worked many camps and have extensive knowledge of the game. I grew up in the area and have lived here all but for years of my life. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a freshman basketball coach. I have coached at multiple camps in the Albany, NY area. I was the assistant women's basketball coach at a community college. I have four years of NYS high school basketball experience.
I have taught 10th global history and 11th grade American history with the respective NYS regents being given at the end of each one. I have tutored multiple students during summer's in history regents subjects. I graduated high school with a NYS regents diploma and have a bachelor's degree in history from, St University.
