I am a fun tutor versed well in many subjects! Anything you need help with, I am more than knowledgeable about the subject and make it fun! A little about me: I am a twenty seven year old college graduate. I graduated from CUNY Queens College with a degree in Music and am currently working on my masters at Pace University working towards my certification in Early Childhood & Special Education! While Working on masters, I also continue taking music courses at the Juilliard School of Music. I absolutely love learning and plan to never stop! Hopefully I can instill the love of learning I have in each of my students as well!
Currently, I am a special education teacher at the Hebrew Language Charter Academy. While teaching a classroom full of awesome students, I tutor in the evenings. I have various students and they achieve nothing but success. I make tutoring a fun activity rather than a chore!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a licensed teacher in 7-12 math and special education.
I am qualified to tutor this subject because I am a music major and have been specifically ear trained. I have been working over four years developing my ear training and have wonderful skills and methods to teach this skill. I have completed eight semesters of ear training in the undergraduate level and will begin my masters with ear training specialization this fall.
I am qualified to teach this subject because currently I am a third grade teacher at a private day school. I am currently prepping my students for the ELA's (yay)! and have a lot of experience working with this level of students.
I am a certified special education teacher K-6 and 7-12. Before teaching SPED middle school, I worked with third and fourth grade. I am well versed in math and have extensive tutoring experience in elementary math.

Currently, I teach third grade at a private day school. We work extensively with handwriting, ELA prep, and reading comprehension. I have extensive experience in these subjects and am able to improve your child's handwriting abilities.
I am a music graduate from CUNY Queens College and have studied at the Juilliard School of Music. My main instrument is piano with a minor in performance. I take weekly lessons and have extensive teaching experience with piano.
