I’m Samantha! I am a 13-year experienced math and science tutor and teacher, as well as current physics teacher. The first thing I like to determine is what style of sessions you need. For instance do you need help getting caught up, or are you needing help prepping for a test, or do you simply want to get ahead, or a combination of these things? This determines how we each will need to prep for each session. Then I’ll ask probing questions to asses how strong of a grasp you have of the material. When explaining topics that students are unfamiliar with, I try as much as I can to relate to real world scenarios.

My specialty topics are Physics, Calculus, Precalculus, as well as SAT and ACT math.

Great teacher for high school Honors Physics

Sam has been a great tutor so far for my daughter. She is taking an honors physics class and needed help mastering some of the equations. My daughter gives Sam a head’s up on what they will go over in the sessions and by the end of the session she understands how to do the equations on her own.
