We searched high and low for a teacher who would understand our son's frustration with learning and were thrilled to find Kathie! She has been a Godsend for our family. He has attention issues and his teachers were not compassionate towards this at all. It caused a lot of frustration for him to the point where he hated school and had given up. Kathie has only been tutoring him for 2 months and he has made a complete turn around. He now looks forward to learning and sees that he CAN move forward in his life and that he is not stupid like he has felt all these years, that he just learns differently than other people. We are so thankful that Kathie has the gifts of teaching and empowering others to become excited about learning! She truly cares about her students and they absolutely know it!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
