About Natasha

Bio

I am 30 years old and currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in order to obtain my teaching certification in CA. I love all subjects and learning. I like to find new ways to help people understand material. I excel in both math and reading subjects. I previously worked in a 2nd grade classroom as a 1:1 aide. I am 30 years old and currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in order to obtain my teaching certification in CA. I love all subjects and learning. I like to find new ways to help people understand material. I excel in both math and reading subjects. I previously worked in a 2nd grade classroom as a 1:1 aide. I also work closely with many different grades both general and special ed, so I know some things about common core and how it works. I am not promising perfect understanding, but I have access to materials and advice on the current common core information and feel confident in being able to help children with common core.

When I tutor, I strive for more than just passing. I really want my clients to understand the material and why they are doing what they are doing. I try to find exactly what they are misunderstanding and try to back into it from a different angle. One of the main things I look for is their learning style. Some kids learn in different ways and the trick is to figure out how to take advantage of their particular learning style.
