I am considered to be a very good math teacher. When I was a teaching assistant at the University of Washington the professor would make a surprise visit to check on correctness. I always did well. This was teaching calculus to freshmen college students. At Sylvan Learning center the students liked me and I found that I could engage the students on some level whether they were whiz kids and even if they were struggling with the basics. In order to work at The Princeton review I had to take an SAT as an adult. My score was perfect. I imagine I would make a pretty smart 40-year old high school student! Seriously though, please consider me for a teaching/tutoring position.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
